Sunderland at home is a different prospect to Liverpool away. You have to approach the game differently.anymore than 2sheiks said:Agree 100%. Nobody WANTS to see Bob sacked because his failure is our failure. I,along with many others, was getting tired of watching us play over cautious, negative football. If he reverts back to one up front and chokes the midfield next monday at anfield and we don't get a win, I'll criticise his tactics again.FantasyIreland said:Really?? One game? Nothing proved yet,far from it,Mario is still a plum, albeit one who appears to be listening to good advice and acting upon it.
I hope he continues and becomes the player we crave, however, everything that has been said so far has been fully deserved.Exactly the same for recent negative comments on our tactics and approach - all deserved.
Yesterday he managed to provide the football many have been crying out for - so he gets the credit, that's how it works.....
We might be the better team now, but we will be away and Liverpool are no mugs. I don't know how we will approach the game but I trust the manager.
I don't know where you get the idea that City are a boring team from. We play good football, and are one of the top scorers in the Premiership. You should remember that Aj and Balotelli have missed big chunks of the season which reduces our options, and we are still a team being built. We are unbalanced perhaps in midfield. That's not Mancini's falt because he team is a work in progress.
You should also allow for fatigue. Do you think it was coincidence that City played well after a break?
And what about Utd's tactics in the Maine Rd derby when they just played Berbatov upfront, and he dropped deep into a 6 man midfield for some of the time. It's not always City's fault when the game is dour
