I think you will find that any manager, especially a manager at a high profile club where money is no object, will appoint his own tried and trusted backroom team rather than take someone of whom he has little working knowledge of. Brian Kidd has only survived because of his long established knowledge of the Manchester scene and I doubt that he now has any meaningful input other than, possibly, a personality who could be used in the recruitment of local kids for the academy.Bobbins said:What about him as Klopps assistant (assuming we get Klopp) would make perfect sense being German and also having hero status at the club !!
