What's everyone's views on it then? Personally, will happily do the card/over-priced roses. But can't do the retaurant thing at the evening. Have done it in the past, but for me it just feels too contrived and false. Not saying I am right, just how it feels.
Anyway, this year I am giving the missus a true romantic evening......A night in the city centre Novotel, Wolverhampton!!
There for a gig, ''Rhodes Goes To Wulfren'': Limehouse Lizzy, Letz Zep, and Are You Experienced? at the Wulfren Hall with two other couples....I know, I spoil her.....

Valentines day is for fat fuckers who don't say a word to their missus all year apart from how many eggs they want with their chips. Then along comes Valentines day and it's all "i love you this, and i love you that".

If you are married/living with a bird then tell her every day you love her.Makes things easier in the long run and saves having to buy over priced tat just because Mr Clinton Card says you have to.

Never do Valentines day and never will.

I get called a c*nt when i don't do anything for Valentines Day .... and called a c*nt when i do !

I get told it's because "it's not really in your heart , you're only doin' it cos you think you've got to"!

Why do i bother?

Cooking for my other half. Take her out to a restaurant the day after probably so we don't have that dreaded set menu.

not told her I'm off to Pompey at 7 in the morning yet!!!

I am seeing a play with the missus on Valentines Day.

There is no way I am getting flowers/cards etc.
