The GOAT has announced he will retire at the end of the season.

What a career, what a legend !

I thought he would have quit after that incident in Austria last year, when the biking gods were in a good mood. He looked ashen in the pits and I was surprised he went out on the restart.
He has been great for the sport and I bet Dorma are hoping his fans worldwide do not leave the sport.
Wish he had got 10 though great rider.

There's lot of sports stars get labelled as the GOAT, Federer and Tom Brady are two of them. Rossi has been competing at the highest level for so long now its hard to see him go.
Marquez may eventually overtake him in titles won but Rossi will always be the GOAT.
