I take it you pay £300 but aren't allocated a seat until nearer the season

the seats are not always bad either. In 2012 I was row 14 of the east stand and aguero got mobbed by the other city players after that goal, right in front of me.
granted this season I was right in the conner on level 3 of the east stand

Exactly. In particular when you go on your own it's pretty attractive. I really liked my seats and my neighbours in 308 but £625 is a bit too much for me at the moment.

I went Value for this season and was given basically the same seat I'd had the previous year but for over £300 less. It's a no brainer if you go on your own.

I'm thinking of heading down to the stadium in the morning to grab one as I can't stand the phone/website!

Did anyone do this last year? Was there any queues?

Also is it the ticket office in the stadium shop?

Yeah, went down to the ground about 8 but there wasn't much in the way of a queue.

I was quite lucky with it last season I got a seat in 308 a few rows back from where my normal ST had been the year before, but for 15 odd quid a match I'd happily sit on the front/back row!

You have to have had a seasoncard the previous season I think.

I got one last year over the phone but it was a right ballache, think they ended up selling out after about 2 hours or so.

I seem to remember someone last time round said they issue 500 but there's been a lot of alcohol abuse between then and now so I might just be plucking that number out of thin air!!

yes you have to be season card holder from year before...ive just been on for 30 mins trying to get my dad one but hes not entitled as hes only blue membership
....still available though...

Wow, all gone in under 2 hours. It seems you can't hang around for these tickets. Saying that, I rang at 9:00 and was sorted by 10 past.

16 quid a match to watch the Champions of England, what excellent value. I was also offered the direct debit scheme which another poster asked about, would have worked out at 4 x £75 payments.
