Value seasoncard £250

I wouldn't have thought so given that they are the most expensive seats in the stadium... my guess would be dotted about the first tier.

Wonder if it's possible to buy two and have them next to each other? Doesn't sound like it from the blurb though

i hope not, if i am paying best part of 500 quid i will be very pissed off if someone pays half next to me.

time for the club to be transparent about how many of these tickets are available and where they are going.

if they have to increase the prices so be it, but to dangle 250 tickets in the meantime is a total piss take.

why not keep prices the same, and shove the 250 quid tickets where the sun dont shine, because if this is marketing it stinks.

oh and if its first come first served, where do you put your name down, because i am sure those who are financially stretched but continue to support the club would like first dibs.

Anybody know where it will be located? my guess is 3rd tier.

either where you'll need binoculars to see the players or a gore tex coat to keep dry

My head is starting to hurt now. Been reading all of this most of the day.

Can someone just confirm this for me.

Currently in block 242. £ 515.00 for next season. Done 30 odd years, york & lincoln away etc etc (I know it's boring).

Someone new can now come and get a season ticket for less than half of what I will be paying.

Is this right or have I missed something ?

If I am right, thanks for the loyalty you have shown to me City.

i'm trying to find out about these too....as far as i can sus out...these will only be offered to existing ST holders who want to downgrade, not to NEW applicants.

i am not sure on what criteria they decide who gets one before someone else....again, i suspect that you will only be able to apply for one at a time and no block bookings will be available with them, so you wont be able to buy one on your card and another on a mates card and then state you want to sit together....they are more for loner ST holders who want a cheap seat

yes, increase the price for those who have followed city everywhere, and then 250 quid tickets for the lucky ones. great innit.

fiasco and farce is what comes to mind.

the cheap tickets are not for NEW applicants...only existing ST holders can apply as a downgrade

which is laughable, families need help, not working single blokes.

From skimming over that part of the site, it seems they're "very limited" and available in any part of the ground once renewals have finished.

So, are they for new or existing ST holders?

Do you get less loyalty points for having this ST?

Is there anything else the 'value' card doesn't have which a regular ST does?

for your sake, i hope you get one, but i personally think they are a pisstake to ALL city fans, everyone wants a good deal, not just a select random few.

Do these lucky so and so's get a reduced service to warrant the lower price? If i find out the guy next to me has only paid £250, i at least want his chips to be even colder than my cold chips. Their match programme should have half as many pages. And they should be forced to go home at half time. If you only pay for half a season, you only watch half a season! They should be made to wear a fluorescent wristband or something so they can be easily identified. ;)

you may think that and you are entitled to your opinion.

I am a 30 yr + ST holder and do not feel this is anything but PROGRESS.

I am not treated like a Chelsea chav with a bottomless pit of cash. The pricing model seems fair to me. Sure we'd all like a cheaper seat but to get the players we have/getting and the improvement in football witnessed since ARAB DAY I am happy to pay what is asked of me.

if for instance there are 4000 cheap season tickets, and they on average are saving 200 quid on what everyone else is paying, why not share the 800000 pound saved between the other 30000 season ticket holders, so everyone saves 20 or 30 quid. (just an example, no idea how many are going to be available)

the club will take approximately the same amount of money next season on season tickets as they have this season, but they will have pissed off a shed load of people doing it.

Seems to me they're testing the water......if they get an inundated response from thousands of fans they may think about expansion for the stadium and cheaper season/match-day tickets.
If the take-up is low from ST holders (who have first dibs on these) then they'll be offered to no ST holders I would imagine, I'll be putting my name down as will thousands of others.

it should be done on loyalty points.

cheapest deal for the loyalist fans.

As an aside have you looked at re-mortgaging? Interest rates are likely to rise in the next 12-18 months
