That’s so much harder to implement than it sounds. How much room is daylight?
I have more of an issue with it still being so inconsistent, and open to "interpretation"Regarding the offside decisions with VAR, i can't understand why they don't make it much simpler by changing the rule so there must be clear daylight between a forward and a defender for offside to be brought into effect, in this case it would make for more goals in games and more entertainment it would also be much easier to prove with VAR,
As an example, yesterday's decision would have removed any doubt about Salah's goal it would have been allowed no questions asked, by the same score Aguero woouldn't have been offside for Sterlings goal against Spurs in the CL last season.
As Trevor Sinclair said this morning , it was very mysterious , he looked a knee offside but when they eventually did a line he looked onside , Mark Halsey said to T.Sinclair....”they can put the line wherever they want” , it was doctored .I'm still not convinced there was no offside for the 2nd goal. VAR did feck all to show the decision was right.
Post it up mate, post it up.
PiGMOB have him down as a Wigan fan.
Ha motd showed his arm was down by his side till the ball headed his way then he put his arm up,gallagher needs a var line up his arse
They should have watched the cl ref go over and look at the monitor last week, quick and easy,i think it's driven by corruption, var and it's rules are fine, pigmol decided to diregard the rules for it's intended use and are going their own way, only they can answer why but any fan watching yesterday and saw that the offside was not subject to var,it has not been made available and it took sky 30 mins to mock up their own line cannot not be a convert to the agenda brigade, not to mention the handball not being given, var have overuled the refs in the last couple of weeks so they don't have that excuse, add to that he lifted his arm up away from his body and motd saying their goal shouldn't have stood but the ref was a chicken swayed by the crowd reactionNot a single ref has gone over to the VAR screen to review a decision. Not one.
So why have it? All it takes is the VAR room to say "look we think you may of got that decision wrong take another look"
But they won't because in the VAR room it's other refs who are scared of telling their colleagues they are wrong
So the question to that then is why have it at all if it can be manipulated to suit the needs of a select few?As Trevor Sinclair said this morning , it was very mysterious , he looked a knee offside but when they eventually did a line he looked onside , Mark Halsey said to T.Sinclair....”they can put the line wherever they want” , it was doctored .
