Calling a Human in the 21st century selfish for eating meat is the same as calling him selfish for walking on 2 legs or selfish for building houses or selfish for wearing clothes or using tools.
It is nonsense.
Anyone who feels this way and also describes life as selfish and the universe as cruel needs to seek psychiatric help.

Mods; isn't it time to kill this thread? It's been obvious from page 1 that the two sides in the argument will not, now or ever, agree. And the arguments are just going around in circles without actually getting anywhere. Let the vegans have their belief that they are the moral leaders of our society, while us evil meat eaters can be content in our position as the pariahs of the 21st century. Or even, as I saw posted earlier in the thread, selfish cunts.

Calling me selfish is a fucking insult mate. I'd be more than capable of knocking out my own meat.

What you are trying to do is impose what you believe to be right on others. And I for one ain't having it. It's fucking bullshit. So keep your nuts on and realise not everyone thinks like you.

Okay. Olives then. They are farmed. Tomatoes are grown in gardens around the country. So are chickens. Children at birth need milk to survive. Still struggling to see the difference between one farming product and the other.

From what I could tell there have be 2 vegans on this thread, and maybe a couple of veggies. It's been 1 way, all the way, you selfish bastard :)

But you're probably right, it has ran it's course. Threads naturally peter out I find.
 
Carvery day today! Choice of lamb, Chicken or cow! Mmmmm.
I've got no beef (bad pun I know) with people who choose to live their lives as they see fit. This particular life choice isn't one I subscribe to and I reckon I'm happier for doing so.
YaYa tony, really, really enjoys his meat though! Haha!
