What is it with people nowadays, everyone seems to be on the vegan bandwagon. Is it a fashion, a fad, a passing phase rather like being gender neutral or is it here to stay. Obviously there are a few vegan diehards who for medical reasons, ecomental reasons or inhabitants of Didsbury practice it but it seems that many are easily lead by social media and the press in general.

I used to work with a vegan, I always remember the look of horror on her face when I asked if I could see her beef curtains.

Vegetarianism is healthy and nicer for you as well as the environment, apparently (my once meat eating now veggie) wife tells me you can get all the nutrients needed from a non meat diet.

Would rather die 20 years earlier than give up bacon, tandoori chicken and steak though.
