I'm not talking about a dinner party situation as that is fair enough to tell someone in advance they don't eat meat. What I am talking about is every single person I know who has converted to the cult of vegetarianism somehow thinks that everyone in the world needs to know about it and be "educated". I have a friend who has recently stopped eating meat and that is his decision and good for him but then my Facebook timeline is bombarded with fucking articles on how people who eat meat are evil and articles and pictures on the benefits of just eating veg and status updates about how good they feel now they don't eat meat and how everyone else should do the same.
I wish this was just an isolated incident but it really isn't and it gets really tiring to hear to the point where the next person who tries to bore me about their plant only diet I will go to a butchers, buy the biggest steak I can and smack them in the face with it.
Thats crazy shit really
you surely only know about the ones who tell peole (not the ones who keep it too themselves)
I stopped eating meat 3 years ago and hardly tell anybody, except if they are cooking for me. So if I was a mate of yours you wouldnt know.

That is a pretty shit argument. Whilst there are other options available, why would you choose to eat an animal that has been bred specifically as a pet?
If it was a choice of going hungry or eating a dog or cat, then I would not hesitate. Dog roast or cat kebab every time.
It's almost as poor a question as asking a veggie if scientists discovered plants feel pain, would you still eat one?
Yes I would
I didnt stop eating meat because animals feel pain, I stopped because of all the stuff they put into meat these days, steroids etc
Not all veggies are veggies because of cruelty
