Vegetarians - Meat replacements

I'd guess the main reason is that most people are shit at cooking, so to turn people vegetarian or vegan, you have to give them something they know how to cook already. If you became vegan tomorrow, chances are you'd basically have to learn to cook again. I reckon I've got about 3 vegetarian recipes in my locker, and one vegan one if I leave out the cheese.

I'm kind of the opposite. I don't eat vegetables (much) or fish.

Exactly bud. It was more a response to the point about people who apparently call themselves veggie but eat fish - maybe pescatarian is just that bit harder to pronounce ;-)
Either way it is a bit of an odd one.

I will eat meat until the day I die unless some laws are brought in before that day that says I can’t.
I’m sure I’ll find something else to enjoy if that happens but until then, Mmmmm, beef, pork and lamb all the way.

Part of me thinks that in 200 years, people will look back in meat eaters as savages. But another part of me reckons trying to stop people eating meat will be like trying to stop people taking drugs or watching porn.

I tried to start eating it about a year ago to try and reduce my cholesterol but I found most of it to be a bit crap.
The stuff that wasn't bad seemed to be crammed full of salt. Now I only eat red meat occasionally but eat a lot more veggies/fruit.

Maybe we are, mate. I guess I’m just glad to be living in a time that still accepts it. It’s nothing to be proud of I guess, everything tells me that it’s wrong and probably harmful to the planet but I’m far too selfish and eat out far too often to forgo it anytime soon.
