Yeah but I would take his comments with a massive pinch of salt. What is he going to say? Every new signing wheels out the tired cliches. How many 'boyhood dream' clubs has Robbie Keane signed for? You're dismissing the comments for his former club as moralising an issue with an ulterior motive to extract more money from us, yet any comment this lad makes about it being his dream move is genuine? It's fan service. When Nolito or Stones or whoever else we sign this window says the same things it's simply pandering to the fans.

Except that he doesn't say this it is his 'dream move' to come to City, he says:

'I am going after a dream, to one of the best academies in the world, with the conviction that my football will develop.
That a club like Manchester City is interested in me makes me proud and while I understand that some may see it as wrong, it is a challenge I have to take, thinking of my career.

Sounds like a grounded lad to me.
