I doubt this is going to happen due to Haaland still being at the club. The issues are finding one who doesn't mind being rotated and has the required quality to play in Pep's highly demanding set up.

Like VG as a player but unsure where he would fit as anything other than EH back up which is something he won’t sign up to. Home games we play against defences sitting deep with midfield 5 yards in front of them. All the areas strikers work in crowded with little room to stretch the defence. Not sure 2 strikers solves or helps this. Just cannot see where VG fits or wanting to come as the first reserve

If Haaland had decided he wanted out this summer, which will happen at some point, then Gyokeres would be a serious target

Given that Haaland looks like he's staying at least a season or more after this, I can't see it

Gyokeres isn't stupid, he knows that if there was any club on the planet where he likely can't dislodge the #9 it's us, even on his worst days Haaland gets as many goals as he does

Much more likely gonna go to Arsenal, United, Real, Barcelona (Lewandowski is 36), Liverpool, Chelsea who all need #9s

Think Delap is a much more realistic signing, but even he may not wanna be a bench warmer

This was Spurs problem for a decade with Harry Kane and something we've struggle with Rodri, how to you get a backup who's content to be a backup and good enough that the drop off isn't too much
