Definitely should keep an eye on him powerful, fast and tricky. Not saying buy him but we would be mad not to keep tabs on him any one else a fan ?

The player we should be gettin is Sessegnon, amazing player... Yes its nothing to do with Victor Moses but cant be bothered starting a new thread lol

A bit too inconsistent for me but can see him staying in the premier league if Wigan go down.

Does have real pace but I would really hope when we strengthen that side of our squad over the summer which I do believe we need to do we will find someone with a bit more quality and consistency than him.

Thanks for that. Can you tell us something we didin't know.
Yet another pointless thread.........................

I think the best prospect to keep an eye on is Ross Barclay at Everton, seen him a few times and looks very promising.

For me Moses will become another valencia/palacious never living upto his own hype.

Potentially brilliant but needs to be surrounded by much better players to realize that potential fully.

Now.......... Junior Hoillett and Scott Sinclair.............. deffo should be looking at those two.

Why don't you no reply or tell me what you think of him as player and how you think he will turn out. Next time don't reply.

-- Sun Jan 22, 2012 12:27 pm --

Welcome back to the pick a random player thread we have missed you

As a moderator I thought you would contribute more instead of bitching. I didn't pick this player at random if you don't like it again don't bother contributing.

Sure I remember Tolmie mentioning we were seriously interested when he went to Wigan, I guess much of that depends on whether you're a believer in Tolmie though (which I am, btw).

We were strongly linked to two young players at the same time - Moses and Johnson. We chose Johnson and even though he's quite mediocre right now I think we made the right choice, he'd fetch more in the transfer market anyway.

Victor Moses' agent has revealed that the highly-rated 21-year-old has turned down the offer of a new contract at Wigan.

The Nigeria international, who joined the Latics from Crystal Palace in 2010, still has a year left to run on his current deal at the DW Stadium.

Wigan are keen to secure his services past that point and had hoped that extension talks would produce a positive outcome.

They now face a fight to keep Moses on board, with his representative confirming that discussions have reached deadlock.

Tony Finnigan said: "An offer was made some months back, turned down, and we were still in negotiations.

"In the last week we spoke again and the player has now decided, 'I don't want to extend my contract'."

Genius

Finnigan is keen to point out that there is no animosity between Moses and Wigan, with it merely decided to put the subject of fresh terms to one side.

He said: "It doesn't mean he doesn't like his manager - he chose Wigan over other clubs.

"Martinez is a tactical genius and an excellent coach, and they are Victor's words.

"He's been playing regularly, he's in form and enjoying his football.

"He has been offered the chance to extend his contract but has said, 'No thank you'."

Developing

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has been delighted with Moses' form this season and had been hoping to see him commit his long-term future to the club.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's trip to Fulham, he said: "I always felt Victor Moses would one day fulfil his potential and when he does that he will be a top, top player.

"We are all delighted to have him developing as he is doing. All I want is Victor to be happy, to be able to develop.

"There is still a long way to go because his potential is huge but it is great to see a young man like him take responsibility and take a big role in our team and have a massive say in how to win games."

I like both Moses and Hoilett.

Direct, quick, strong and score goals. Wouldn't be a bad option for us for playing when we rest Silva etc.

dippers and spuds will be all over them and with better players around them i think they will shine.

The thing with him is when we got AJ it was a toss up between Moses or him and we went for AJ, shame as Moses has more going for him i think but then again Mancini got the final say

At the time though Johnson was more exciting, not sure anyone could have forseen how dirt average he could end up.
