As this is about the 37th thread here in the last few years offering Brits an opportunity to lambast Americans for regular displays of rampant stupidity — and justifiably so in many cases — I will, also for the 37th time, point out that the UK voted to inexorably alter the entire economic and social structure of the nation based on a 15-word referendum.

There’s plenty of thickness to go around the English-speaking world, sadly.

I’ve been over here for 20 years. The morning after the Brexit vote, me and a work colleague, who’s also a Brit, saw each other in the morning at the office. We looked at each other and said ‘what the fuck have they done’. As much as we both hated trump, we knew that was a 5-10 fix. The UK is fucked for the next generation, at least.

I was on a cruise ship in the middle of the Pacific watching the results, couldn't believe it when the leave vote won, they even showed some FOC's living in Spain who voted leave...........wtf ?
