If he's only achieved moderate success after 3 years, I think there's a good chance of him extending his stay to "complete the job". He doesn't strike me as the sort of guy to leave something half done.

I think his best career move would be another season or two at NY and then a couple of years at a Europa League qualified club in say France or Portugal.

Enrique spent a few seasons elsewhere as a manager and player but much of his career has been at Barca in some role or other.

I was aware but it's more about promoting from within as opposed to City seeing Vieira leave for Crystal Palace before bringing him back.
