Vieira here- The future?

I've a feeling City may have had a word with Simone with regards to life after Pep. His contract renegotiated down a few months ago and knowing City's planning far in advance and our affection for Everyone Argentinian. Plus the style of football make me wonder.
Just a guess but hav a feelin Simeone will pop up at Spurs and Pochetino will move to the meccano set once peg is binned.

Simeone will end up at Arsenal or Inter Milan, not a chance we'd ever move for him.
What makes you think we wouldn't move for Simeon Sean? I'm the opposite I think he would be the perfect successor to Pep. Intense pressing game, tactically astute, fantastic motivator and a winner looking for a new challenge. I don't see any reason we'd overlook him. Maybe with Paddy V as his number two?

Because he's the complete polar opposite to everything the people in charge of the club are working towards. He's a defensive minded coach who values not conceding to scoring goals and playing attractive football.

Personally think Simone could be a little to aggressive for Barca. He's a lot like klopp but with an aggressiveness. He is undoubtedly going to move on from A Madrid and I don't see him going to Real either. I think England would be in his thinking and with the Argy/Spanish connections I think we'd be top of his list. We all know Peps going to leave in 3 years. I think we are far to cute in our planning to not plan for that. We planned Pep how many years ago? The shortening of Simone's contract, that he asked for himself suggested to me, at least, that he has his eye keenly on his future and has a plan. He leaves his post at the end of next season maybe takes a year sabbatical like Pep and returns at the end of Peps third year. Pep studied us from afar whilst at Munich. Maybe Simone will do the same on his sabbatical. Simone and Veira 1-2 I like the sound of that personally.

I'd be happy with that 1-2 if pep was to decide against a contract extension. Hopefully pep will have had enough of hopping from country to country though and do a ten year stint with us where we win 6-7 premier league titles, 4-5 domestic cups & 2-3 European cups. We can dream :)

Don't get all these threads about when Pep leaves blah blah blah am I missing something?
