Viera is our future Sporting Director imo.
He understandably wanted to see first if he could make it as a coach but he has done just about OK at NYCFC and now Nice. About par for expectations.
But this adventure has taught him some much needed humility after decades of success and it has also given him a further, harsher, different and more realistic insight into the entire industry.
He will come out of this better for the experience and he is still very highly thought of by the CFG bigwigs
