Anyone seen the Viktor Valdes challenge on N'Doye tonight ? No booking, no free kick, nothing ..... if it was NDJ he'd be hung !!

Correct. This is nothing new. I vaguely remember as a kid the German keeper of the 80's Schumacher(?) who used to do things like this on a regular basis without reprisal.pee dubya said:Goalkeepers always get away with dangerous challenges.
Just had a look at the 2 challenges, and after reviewing them i'd say neither is worse than the other, however I do take on board the Valdes one could have caused more harm than NDJ's. In both cases though their feet are extraordinarily high and really didn't need to be. I said NDJ's was worse at first as Alonso was barely off the floor, but looking at this one, neither is the forward involved.jay_mcfc said:Pigeonho said:That was bad. He's just kicked him in the face whilst running at pace, much worse than De Jong's!
