Villa fan found guilty of punching nine year old City fan at Cup Final

A fully grown man, who was part of a small group of Villa fans walking towards my mum and I at the top of Wembley Way, decided to scream threateningly (right in her face) as they passed. She was 80 years old at the time of the final.

The Villa fan that tried to intimidate her was in his 40’s and he and his friend were with a couple young teenage lads I presume were their children.

Luckily, my mum is made of strong stuff, but they weren’t to know that.

I've said it since the Gareth Barry saga, Villa fans are the biggest cry babies in the league (on par with the dippers).

Nothing is better than seeing a villa fan get triggered *flashback to that villa fan (a grown man) losing his shit throwing fake money*

What were they were all so pissed off about that day? They'd seemed to have really wound themselves up that day that they create a proper atmosphere and City didn't, when in all honesty they were one of the poorer atmospheres I've seen at Wembley, and then that seemed to really drive them to kick off. It was weird.

I was at Wembley Stadium Station after the match. The Villa fans, not a minority of them, behaved like animals. They were abusing older City fans and children. The worst fans I have seen during our recent Wembley trips. They just wanted to fight anyone and were fuelled up with their racist comments about our Arab owners. The City fans showed great restraint.

Yeah I experienced that as well. Villa supporters were the most obnoxious I've been near for many years. Kicking off for no reason at us City fans in the queues for the trains. I had the misfortune to travel back to the Midlands on a crushed packed train with them. Social distancing was about 38cm. Good thing I'm so old I probably already had every antibodi going and didn't get Covid ! Little 7 year old kids singing songs about Villa in Europe before their Grandads were born. Saying City had " no history" . I think only Dippers are worse.

Have worked in Birmingham for 30 years and Villa fans are the most deluded and fickle fans going (on par with all the plastic scouse fans in Birmingham). Their behaviour at Wembley sums them up. And BTW, when they last won the league and European Cup our average attendance was higher.
