Villa fans

I see some on a forum over here, not all Villa fans by the way, putting Poch forward as a possible replacement for the slipster. Seriously? Why would Poch go there?

His options are not right smart at the moment the top six here are mainly closed off and Villa are ambitious he could do worse.

I have read this thread with interest, I think we can all agree it’s easy to support a club winning trophies with lots of success. As mentioned Villa haven’t won a trophy since 1996. I remember in the early 70’s standing in a crowd of over 48000 when Villa were in the old 3rd division against Bournemouth. Also going away to Reading when we won our 1st away game for 14 months in the championship on a cold Tuesday October night in 2016 , we took over 4000 fans to that game. More recently we have just sold our 5200 allocation for a Tuesday night game in the league cup 2nd round against Bolton ……. Not bad for “fickle “ fans.
But ...erm....you won a European cup.....You keep reminding us.

Your average attendances in the early 70's was about 27k.

By the way we didn't start supporting City in 2008 you prick.

Go and blow up a fake cup ........and read fake stories about disgusting MCFC and it's fans and non existant burning flares.

Biggest cup crowds at Villa Park in the early 80s were for FA cup semi finals. Not a single crowd above 40k during their EC run.
