I love it up 308, we have a good bunch up there now, but I am all for trying something new and having the whole of the SS as a 'kop' type stand coul;d work well. I will be moving down there with my other 3 and joining in, it will be a great night I think.
Last time this happened as someone has said was the fulham match...and what happened all the city fans sat down in that area...in fact the south stand & singing stand were taking the piss out of them for being boring as fuck!

I am one of the stupid ones who didnt sign up for cup schemes and now im never going to get my seasonticket seat in 109 because nearly everyone will want to relocate on the 24th and 25th from the other side of the stadium to the SS, cant get mine till 27th no chance im getting my season ticket seat... blame my self though for not doing cup scheme

The club have single handly ruined the atmosphere at city with this decision. Most of the little atmosphere that is generated at city is in response to the away fans, which is why when we play teams like Wigan with few away fans the atmosphere is rubbish. Pushing the Villereal away fans up out of the way is going to really kill everything. I only sit where i do for the away fan banter and I will not be relocating myself to East Stand level 3!

200 lads singing 'who's the faggot in the pink' is not atmosphere . When the singing reverberates around the ground, that's atmosphere.

Stupid fuckin thing to quote,we know youve a campaign to get the away fans moved, but dont talk shit!

'don't talk shit' doesn't really stand up as a constructive argument mate. My belief is that moving the away fans to
The other side of the south stand would be the best solution for
Atmosphere, but this is still a good idea. There will be 200 Spanish here for this game, their location will have no bearing on the atmosphere . But having the city singers singing 'as one' will.

This is not the same as Wigan or
Fulham at home, or a carling cup game. There will never be any atmosphere for those type of games. The stadium needs one voice for these big games, so the part-time singers join in more. This will work but only if promoted correctly.

will this match sell out?

Nah. 28k(ish)!

In all seriousness, imo between 41,000 and 45,000

-- Fri Sep 30, 2011 4:33 pm --

Got mines today. South stand 216 row F. First time in SS, past few times i've been down been in East and CB. Not sure what to expect apart from a decent atmosphere!

Been on holiday so was surprised to see that Villareal fans were coming up to the "Gods".I see they are allocated 309,and part of 308.I sit in 308 can anyone tell me what rows of 308 they will be "seated".Much obliged.

[quote="cleavers I'd also price the beer sensibly to get people in well before kick off.[/quote]

Unfortunately that couldn't apply for the Villareal game - the sale of alcohol isn't permitted for UEFA matches.

They sold beer at City Square before the Napoli match if I remember right? But not through the turnstyles.
