Villareal away rollcall

Trains from Alicante to Valencia take about 1 hr 45 mins and cost around €30-35 one way. From Alicante airport to Alicante train station a taxi costs €17 and takes 15 minutes.

Valencia to Villareal takes 1 hr and costs about €8-10 one way.

Right , those planning taking trains from Murcia , Alicante, Valencia and Barcelona take note

There are offers now on the renfe web for 25/26 October which should mean a week from now the web offers for Nov 2/3 will be available. Having just checked there are some trains at HALF PRICE - around 35e return from the likes of Barcelona & Alicante, so hang fire a few days more and you should get a good deal

Any ideas how many loyalty points you will need to purchase a ticket for this one? Flights and car hire booked so all that's needed is a match ticket....

Just been on renfe. Can't see any 1/2 price offers on 25/26 Oct which would suggest trains a week later will be any cheaper. The only 1/2 price I can see is that the local (MD) trains are 1/2 the price of the inter-city trains, but that is normal.

I would use the local trains but the times don't suit to and from Alicante.

I have a spare bed for the nite of 02 nov at the Rostits in valencia other Blues are staying here as well £25 included cont breakfast. Its also close to train and bus station. De Nero can vouch for me. send a Pm if interested.

Regards

Peely

Don´t know the place but it´s big enough to have at least a few late night watering holes around the centre I imagine

Castellon is a lovely little City with plenty enough happening. I'll see if there is an Irish bar there that will stay open late.

I'm almost certain that I will run a coach from Valencia to Villareal and back. Stay tuned for more info.

thanks i think you have made my mind up as i cant be arsed travelling 45mins /1hr after the game

Gonna book our flights this week! Thinking of flying on the 1st flying back on 4th to benidorm! Few nights out there and a day tip to watch the blues! As long as we get to spain getting to the match wont be too difficult

There will be four of us travelling by train from Barca on the day of the game. Anyone clued up on buying train tickets over there? Are group tickets available to make it cheaper etc?

Put us down for at least 2. Tuesday 1st Into Alicante from Manc, fly back Thursday into Liverpool. Fancy Valencia if someone puts on a fun-bus on the day of the game and return
