I have been before when and it is definitly not glamourous, The place is just a village with a great big pottery factory. I only saw 2 boozers and it is like going back in time. you will be surprised.
All fans are best staying in Valencia for the day and getting train in before game about 45 minutes journey, the local police will ensure there is a return train after match to valencia but beware when I went with Rangers they said it would leave at midnight and left at 11-30 when full.
Tickets will be no problem as the locals will sell theres for a profit of 5 euro.
Ground is nowt special and I will be looking forward to Munich and Naples much more, the view in the away corner is abysmal better to be down the side but many were in home section on my visit with no problems.

The average age in Villarreal for the locals was well above 60, you wont see any youngsters it was amazing, can confirm Valencia is decent
