Vinny Good For Another 5 Years

Hopefully Denayer proves his worth over the summer and we don't waste another 30 million on a centre half. Personnel isn't the problem.

He did that in pre season this time round, he was outstanding and didn't miss a tackle, oh how we needed him this season instead of him languishing in the Turkish league having signed a new contract.
Pep will have him back in a flash and I can see him starting many games next season, fantastic defender.. Vinnie obviously has a major problem avoiding Injuries, I hope he can sort it out, he's still the best there is when fit..!

Vinny isn't good for another 5 minutes unless a miracle cure is found for his many ailments!

Vinny needs about 5 years off to recover after what he has been through. He’s got leg muscles like pulled pork!
I wouldn’t let him go though, if he is coming back anywhere it needs to be with us!

I don't recognise the player you describe. Have you seen his injury record recently btw?

Actually, apart from Denayer to come back, we've also got that lad Adarabioyo (it will not surprise anyone that I had to go back to his name about four times before getting it right…!) from the EDS, who looked very good indeed in the Chelsea match. We were only swamped because there were too many youngsters thrown in together (and even then, it was the senior players who let us down just as much). At only eighteen he might be a bit young, but there are grounds for giving him a shout from time to time next season. Has anyone been able to watch him regularly in the EDS games?

He'll be going to NAC Breda by the sounds of things. If Humphreys is sticking about he might get some cup minutes

Been too much speculation on here in the past about Vinny's future. The fact is we don't know - anyone who says they do is guessing. Without doubt he needs rest more than anything so don't rush him back.
Camel gob, Terry and others have had terrible runs with injuries, come back and gone on to get their best form and fitness back. And won stuff. Let's hope that's the case.

Unless they take him to Lourdes, and a miracle happens, there's no way we'll get five more years out of Vinny. We need to start planning for life without him, I'm afraid. Starting by getting Jason back.

Too positive for on here that.

Vinny being injured for the Euro's is a bonus for City, he can recover, rest, recuperate, and then focus on getting fully fit. He's proved in his few games this season that he's still more than capable. Hopefully he'll be used more conservatively from now on, and that we get decent cover in so that he can be, and we don't have to over rely on him.

He's still a great leader, and one of the few at the club.

Missed something like 20 games this season through injuries hasn't he? Last I heard he had a thigh muscle injury that saw him out for about a month and a half? Not good news that at his age, it's what did Richards in!
Indeed, this is from another place about Jason's problems - that Belgiam team doc has got his work cut out

His injury record is really bad. 13 Injuries the whole season. In total, he had:
2 hip problems
8 Thigh Muscle Strain
1 Calf
2 Unknown

10 of those were during a game and he was substituted. And the last game I saw him was versus Rizerspor, second leg, this time the Cup, 0-0 and they qualified for the final. He played 90 minutes as a CB. Galata won away with 3-1 in the first leg where he also got injured.
To make it clear, if we put our hopes in Denayer, then we really are fucked.

Give him a bit of respect and use his full name ffs: Abdul-Nasir Oluwatosin Oluwadoyinsolami "Tosin" Adarabioyo
