Journalists' rules for reporting player salaries:

a) In the unlikely event that the facts are known, calculate the maximum that could be earned for 100% appearances and winning the quadruple. Report that amount as gospel, without qualification.

b) If the facts are not known, simply make up a number.

c) If it's Manchester City, feel free to add a mark-up of your choice.

Hope i think. It has gone quiet after the initial excitement of Bernardo.

Just need van Dijk, Walker, Ederson, Mendy and Sanchez deals sorted then we can relax and let the other clubs fight over what's left. Hopefully with everyone snubbing the rags.

I think The Time said it first and then all the media reported that he is in top of our list for the CB roll. I think to said its done its premature but personally i think we will get him.
 
Interesting. Just seems quick that Liverpool and Chelsea have been shot down so quick into the window fighting for him..hopefully we get him.
 
I see nobody else reporting this as a done deal except the Mirror, and the Sunday People, who "believe" that it is a done deal. It's as you were. Believe it when it's announced on the OS. Or believe if you like because it's amusing and fun, and passes the time, and distracts you from the collective media orgasm around Ronaldo.
