Virgin Media 1/2 Price For 6 months question

My 1st 6 months is up and a £35p/m bill has gone up to £70p/m.

Is there a way of paying less for the next 6 months or am I stuck for the remained of the contract?

I can't see any easy way out of it. Did you understand that you would be paying £70 per month (after six months) when you entered into the contract?
