Virgin

Currently pay £85 per month for broadband etc. Got email stating it was going up by £21.50.

So phoned up and its now £81.25 per month. How does that work?

We had similar .... ended up paying less with Sky Movies thrown in. I think they rely on those that just accept the rise to pay up, but if you threaten to leave, they back down.

They've practically doubled mine from May, currently paying £22 for 1gig broadband, telephone and tv with sky sports and bt sports.

74 a month, that's everything top speed broadband all the TV channels movies and sports and netflix plus another box up stairs

Just had a letter off them today saying they're putting my broadband and tv package up by 30% from 1st May even though I'm in a contact to November.

I won't be a Virgin customer from May then, it seems.
You should be able to cancel right away with this hike .
Phone them up and ask for an immediate cancellation and they will drop the price back
