Having Savinho and Ederson in the team should help him settle quickly

And if he plays alongside Ruben then Reis, Ruben and Ederson can talk Brazilian/portugese which should help him adapt a little quicker

A fatherly arm around the shoulder from Bernardo and a hug from Nunez. He'll be at home in no time

Pep was saying he wanted ready made players 25/26/27 etc

Soriano wanting 18/19/20 etc

Looks like we will see a mix to keep everyone happy. The youth going into defence alongside established pros is a smart move.

The older more refined players like Marmoush coming into the forward line is also clever.

If we get all 3 and a DM then wow what an exciting window.

at age 17/18 to move from Brazil and Argentina to Manchester, its a shocking thing imo, especially if they dont speak English much.

wouldnt expect either Reis or Echeverri to start 4+ PL games even this season imo certainly not if Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol, Ake manage to keep fit mostly , Stones unlikely to do that imo his place for ext season is under threat now, we need fit players.

but being here getting used too the country, to the team, settle down, have a great pre season maybe some game time in the CWC, it a lot better for future season than arriving mid summer 2025 or maybe being away longer due to some youth tournaments in the summer.

really promising Bobb, Echeverri, Reis, Savinho, Kushanov fucking hell at least one of these need to turn into world beater in their position. maybe more than one. total outlay on them around 100m plus bonuses,

out with the old, in with the new, lets rebuild big time.

Add in Wirtz, Marmoush, a top CM with huge energy and great off the ball skills, while wake up the likes of Foden, Bernardo, and we could be a different animal by August for next season.

I wonder if the rumors of Fernandinho's return coincide with the club's push for Reis.

The Argentina league is brutal, the Brazilian is not, it is a mixture of young players wanting to impress, with their clubs making money, and older players who know they will not make it. Which is why Arthur looked brilliant, until he came to Europe. He is elegant, a class act lets see if he can improve.
 
remember when we all hyped up Kayky as the next womderkid from brazil.

I wouldn't be getting giddy he starts straight off the plane, adjustments will be needed, I expect Khushanov to get games earlier than this lad this season, next year will be thier year though to form a solid partnership.

then again Pep may play them at full back or DM or some.other experimental position ;-)

His reputation compared to Kayky's is in a whole different stratosphere and his profile is insane too especially the fact that he's ambipedal. Legit needs a little bit of bulking and I can deffo see him fighting for a place in the starting 11 next season onwards.
 
Great news. I think it was fairly obvious their ‘we want him here for the CWC’ line was to get a slightly higher fee.

Can’t wait to see him at AK get going!
 
Just going off the video, he looks like he has many of the qualities that would eventually make a DCM - pace, anticipation, control, passing range.

Also just wondering about work permit situation as he hasn't yet played for Brazil. But notice that there is now an exception of up to four players if they are a youth player of significant potential and quality. It looks like Reis and Echeveria will fall into that category. But it is at the discretion of yet another panel.

Being adamant a 18 year old joins asap and not in the summer = we might have a gem .
