He’s only had 6 appearances in the First Team, he can improve, and more experience in a more stable team environment, will help.

I don’t think he looks too out of place at all. But he hasn’t made it his own but he’s 19 playing his first time at pro level in an unbelievable squad full of international players. It’s not a knock on the kid.
Could make an argument if Pep and coaches didn’t like him we’d seen more of Braithwaite as highly thought of and had a run in the cup as well but he is 16.

First half he was making himself available for the sideways pass from Eddie and there was sod all in front of him for the pass, so had to lump it forward a number of times. The longer he waited for someone to show from central midfield or wide, for the simple pass, put him under lots of pressure. They did him no favours and he was basically playing fullback.

Ye I noticed that too, there was one occasion he got the ball from Emerson, there was a Salford player about 20 yards away from him and Nunes was behind this player. At no time did Nunes move out wide to give him an option to pass to. One thing I like about South Americans is they are dirty footballers. He’ll be just fine.
