I think JSP is likely to go on loan next season with these 2 and likely Doyle coming in.Clearly competition but we’d back ourselves as the best club in the world etc. But with Khusanov signing and we still have JSP around I’d be happy if we signed him but he stayed there for the CWC as looks a real talent.
Yeah a loan or sold with the usual sell on buy back etc.I think JSP is likely to go on loan next season with these 2 and likely Doyle coming in.
He needs alot more experience than what City can give him, and with those 3 coming in and still having Dias, Ake, Akanji and a broken Stones for 3 spots, we will be stacked.
Still hope they fuck themselvesThat ornstein comment is nonsensical. Regardless of who signs him, the others will be frustrated. If they really wanted him, they could have offered more or done more. It's not like once we roll into town, everybody walks with their tails between their legs. Ask Fred and Sanchez who they signed for.
This kid sounds like he’s gonna be a superstar. I’d like him to come in January but seems more likely next season.
He doesn’t look quick enough brave enough or strong enough. That’s not about who he’s playing next to imho.Simpson-Pusey has dealt with his minutes better than Savic under Mancini and he turned out ok.
I think your criticism is unfair. Although he may not be ready the biggest issue for me is how other players play with him. Which you could say is because he isn’t ready but also because our current first team defenders have been so good for so long with no real change to the line up apart from Josko who is incredible.

Yeah I’m sure it is but of all the kids I’ve seen attempt to make that step he looks the worst. Looks like a rabbit in head lights. His defending for their chance was dreadful and how did he miss the header to score early in first half?I think it’s a massive step up to play in the prem from the Youth system which is mostly none contact.
JSP needs to go out on loan, 100%. He looked lost yesterday even against a League 2 shite team.He doesn’t look quick enough brave enough or strong enough. That’s not about who he’s playing next to imho.
HarshHe doesn’t look quick enough brave enough or strong enough. That’s not about who he’s playing next to imho.
To be honest I see him being sold to a championship team in the summer with buy backs, sell ons etc.Harsh
JSP,Give him a chance!!!
He’s only had 6 appearances in the First Team, he can improve, and more experience in a more stable team environment, will help.
Keep the Faith and stay positive :0)
But Pep says he is the future of City's defence. Well I have to listen to the gaffer here tbhHe doesn’t look quick enough brave enough or strong enough. That’s not about who he’s playing next to imho.
Ye I noticed that too, there was one occasion he got the ball from Emerson, there was a Salford player about 20 yards away from him and Nunes was behind this player. At no time did Nunes move out wide to give him an option to pass to. This was right in front of Pep, I bet he was fuming at the lack of effort or awareness from NunesFirst half he was making himself available for the sideways pass from Eddie and there was sod all in front of him for the pass, so had to lump it forward a number of times. The longer he waited for someone to show from central midfield or wide, for the simple pass, put him under lots of pressure. They did him no favours and he was basically playing fullback.
He’s unlikely to say he’s shite in a press conference or post match but with due respect to Pep if he’s the future of our defence I have serious concerns. Also if he’s is why we looking at two CBs? Pep also raved about Wric Garcia and look how that turned outBut Pep says he is the future of City's defence. Well I have to listen to the gaffer here tbh
One thing I like about South Americans is they are dirty footballers.
Looks like a player to be fair and one who all City fans would have got behind. Reminds me of a Mobile NDJ.Ugarte?
