No because there's ultimately more to voting than policies. However, I may use it to help me come to a balanced and informed decision, along with other sources of information.
This is a tool to help see what parties propose to give to you. What it doesn't show you is:
- How effective and experienced the administration and leadership is in the party (probably Lib Dem and Labour's biggest hurdle).
- Whether the party will stick to its policies after being elected into government.
- Whether these policies are realistic, achievable, or even legal.
- What the full financial costings and economic model driving the policies looks like.
- The impact of tactical voting in your area (given the FPTP system).
