that's all grand at the start, but where will you stop. If you go banning WUM's how are the genuine fans going to get through the nets?

Its pretty obvious who are the genuine fans is it not?

Im talking about the blatant ones. The ones who sign up like last night and then get around a hundred replies of obscenities thrown at them and bask in it. Its a waste of space and at this time of year we dont need it on here. Good posters are turning their backs because of it.

We deo need something doing during the summers, its only going to get worse... its a hard job deciding where to draw the line though... Which is probably what i should have said :)

I mean some of the shite in Off Topic is much worse than some lonely guy sat on his own pretending to know transfer information, imo. Its just the latter gets repeated ad nauseum.

I have offered to do it through the summer and then relinquish the responsibility if that is what is needed. I would do it sensibly.

I said to Ric I thought the current mods could use some help, even with things like merging threads etc, mods have there own lives to live and cant be on here all the time.

In terms of other fans, i dont see a problem with them coming on an expressing views, even if they are critical as long as they are constructive.

It is however very easy to see which posters come on here just to wind people up and which ones actually want to talk football. If its the former, I say ban them.
