It is the most ridiculous legal case involving two relatively high profile people.

The fact the legal action is been driven by a woman who has had to hand over troves of information that incriminate her while paying hundreds of thousands to Solicitors an barristers adds a new layer of stupidity to it. Her own accomplice has claimed the phones jumped off a speedboat and is too mentally unwell to attend. Any half decent Solicitors would have begged her not to go ahead. The barristers even sound embarrassed.

They will not feel slightly embarrassed as the submit their fee notes no matter if they win or lose. I doubt whether no win no fee arrangements were even discussed.
