I’ve worked freelance for years. Jobs became harder to get and daily fees were hammered by up to 50%. So I saw a real and massive cut.

Not expecting the least bit of sympathy as I made my own choices. I had no corporate tit to suck but did well enough over the longer time frame. Just thought I’d add a different perspective.

Very similar, I’ve not put my prices up in six years to stay competitive. However increased business has helped make up for that but expenses have increased. Only do about 28 hours a week now but able to sub out work to a Blue mate which helps us both. Had the corporate tit sucking until around 10 years ago, never go back but at 60 no one would have me anyway:)
