I got a last minute ticket to go to the warehouse project lastnight. I didnt know what it was all about but id heard people said its good. Its not good, its awesome! It was basically a rave in an underground car park...Miss dynamite and annie mac headlined and were both brilliant.
Did anyone on here go lastnight or been in the past?
And am i right in thinking that its soon going to be no more after this year??
but for the record, im really struggling today, been in and out of consciousness on the couch watching the football all day!

It's the end of whp at store street however I wouldn't be surprised if they announce in the coming months another location around Manchester

I went a while back to watch Steve Mason and Doves. Great gig, and the venue is top. Was a bit pissed off that you have to be in there before half 10 (Or won't be allowed entry), and main act weren't on till 12.30-1.00.

It was originally near strangeways I was told and then moved too Piccadilly, so possibly just moving again. Owned and organised by Mike Pickering.

Before Boddingtons brewery was knocked down it started out there in 2006. It was only supposed to run between September and New Year, as the brewery was due to be demolished. It was so popular that they decided to run it again the following year, if memory serves it was in a number of venues in 2007. Then they pitched up at Store Street and have been there since. If they don't find another permanent venue it will definitely be run as a "night" at multiple venues like they did before.

Last went around 2 years back, was too close to the speakers, and I've had mild tinnitus ever since.

Probably still worth it mind.

It's not owned by Mike it's owned by Sacha former owner of Sankeys. Mike's girlfriend runs it though she is always there doing the guestlist, not sure what other involvement she has than that though.
