This has presumably been raised on here before but, as Scholes had retired from playing at the end of last season and was presumably no longer registered with the club, how come he was allowed to play? He was only staying on in a coaching capacity surely? They should be fined umpteen thousand pounds and ejected from the tournament in my impartial opinion.

I heard rumours from a mate a few days ago that he had been quietly registered 2 weeks ago. To be fair I didn't really believe him until yesterday morning. This lad is mates with a couple of freelance journalists who reckon the story had been doing the rounds for a few weeks.

i ll tell you what is illegal... i was watching the highlights of the game again. i took a close look and its possible my pubic "off cuttings" got the last touch on two of the scums goals!!!! i know once you shave them off they are not your property but wayne cannot claim to have a ginger curly fringe! minge forehead prick.i m sick..... sure both goals are illegal and we really won two one :D

ITV reported yesterday (pre game) that he's a registered player until the end of this season... non story.

To be honest I wish they played him every game, he looked knackered yesterday and gifted us our second. He can play us every week if he wants, as long as he gives away silly passes like yesterday.

But I heard Ronnie Irani say that players like Iniesta and Scholes ooze class and "just never give the ball away." So you must be wrong.

They should be made to register Rooneys hair piece....... Jesus I've heard of the phrase 'you can't polish a turd' but what he's done is layed a turd on top of another turd looks fuckin stupid...

The match commentary I was listening to mentioned that Scholes had been re-registered to play just in time for the FA Cup game against Manchester City.
