i was younger back then and more just thrilled to bits to be at wembley we went 2-0 down and it was like oh we've fucked it but then it all unfolded and it was immense.

But Sunday just had a better feel to it because it was a strange feeling we can do this and to do this to the rags as well i think this has to be a better feeling?

Yes because we had come from 8 Points behind in the Title Race and when we went 2-1 down it just seemed like it wasn't going to happen and United had to suffer! :)

I was there in '99 and watched Sunday on a tv thousands of miles away. Sunday was still better - just !

Before the match I tweeted.. We need to party like 1999 I was referencing the prince song.. but I guess the football gods were a cruel woman.. lol And UTD got the feel the loss like Bayern Munich did in 1999.

On a secondary note.. what if that last match was the Derby and we beat UTD by scoring two in stoppage time to win the PL title. (yes it was stil last match of the year.)

Was 17 in '99 and Sunday wins hands down. No disrespect to what happened in '99 at all, it was insane then and still is. But this was on another level.

99 was important because we might not have a club now, and it was the rebirth of our club.

In '99 my overriding emotion was relief, Sunday was just pure fucking elation!
