I'm sorry but i couldn't resist.

The first paragraph used to read;

"...United's Old Trafford ground lies just outside the city boundaries in the borough of Trafford, although Manchester United did form in Newton Heath, where the club had played for many years"

Seemed too Rag biased to me, so i've edited it.
<a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester_derby" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester_derby</a>

I'd hate for someone from a younger generation to come across that article and be misled.

the problem with that is there are loads of city fans from Trafford (and the other boroughs like Salford, Stockport and Tameside) who like myself, class themselves as being from Manchester.....so in a way your having a dig at our fans as well

mate is this u aswell
Nevertheless, despite the publically accepted cheating, United still failed to win the League or Champions League that season
or
It was the third time in the season that United won the derby in stoppage time, which really showed how fortunate and lucky United were as they continued their fall off the top of the English footballing pyramid as they have now run out of money and can't afford to keep buying the title.

genius that is

Interestingly Manchester City were formed 1880 in Gorton, which did not become part of Manchester Borough until 1890, an irony which is rather lost on most City fans.

The feud started in 1998, when United captain Keane suffered a cruciate ligament injury when clean through on goal, being chased down by Haaland (then playing for Leeds, a team that also have an unpleasant rivalry with United). As Keane lay on the ground, Haaland accused him of feigning injury.

That's bollocks isn't it? The gypo was trying to foul someone and hurt himself, so Alfie went over and told him that it serves ghim right, IIRC?

He did his cruciate tackling Haaland, not being tackled or fouled by him.

That's what I thought, so what's all this clean through on goal business about?

I don't believe that's childish at all, but then I have taken up the hobby of saboutaging scum merchandise ever since I read about it on here a couple of years ago.

Whenever i'm out, I have to turn any scum cards, magazines, calendars, bags etc upside down and back to front so that you can't see the badge. Either that or hide it behind something else. I see it as a personal fight to stop the spread of this terrible rag disease.

As I live near Sheffield you may have noticed some of my work in Meadowhall shopping center.

I would estimate that i've hidden at least 1000 items of rag filth since I began and I urge you all to join in - it brings a lot of satisfaction.

No it wasn't, plus i've just changed it back again, this time keeping their original text too.

If Wikipedia is supposed to be about facts, then why is this fact being removed?

its all been changed. wish i would have seen the changes.

You can. Click the words "view history" at the top of the page, find the relevant edit (you will probably be able to tell from the edits afterwards reverting it, and their summaries) and click to view against the previous entry.

As a frequent Wiki user, though I agree with most of the sentiment I also feel compelled to point out that, while Wikipedia is about fact, it also is about neutral point of view - we all may say that the extra time was cheating, but unless the FA had investigated it - which of course they didn't - you aren't allowed to mention it. Unfortunately the people who run Wikipedia are adamant that anything which can be understood in any way as bias must be removed.

I also do this, had a few arguments with girls down the years about me always turning the shitty shirts back to front!
