Watched Other Clubs?

I lived in Warrigton for three years when I did my degree and went to watch many Warrington Wolves RLFC games. I did my 10week work placement with the club doing coaching with kids and I was even the mascot "Wolfie" once. I still go back and watch the Wire ten years on.

I know this isn't footy, but I couldn't ever go and have an interest in another football club. I live in Timperley, just 0.9miles from Altrincham's Moss Lane - and although I did go to watch Alty about four times as a kid I didn't want them to win, they aren't my club. With my family being from Moss Side and all being Blues my emotional interests are with City.

I've never followed another club, but I have been to see Bury a couple of times as a teenager many, many moons ago as well as Altrincham, Stockport and oddly enough, Chelsea!

*Edit*
Also did a work colleague a favour and took her husband to see Liverpool v Strasbourg at Anfield years ago too.

*Edit2*
Forgot to add spent a weekend in Ayr and as they were playing at home, went to watch them too.

Having been living abroad for decades I usually hook up with a local club an watch their games..because I love the game itself.

The club I have sort of watched least the last decade must be City actually, rather funny actually.

As my username suggests- Due to living a good 12 hour drive from city, i support my local team. I've had 4 or 5 season tickets and followed caley all over scotland. Im beginning to start going less now though, getting charged 25 quid a ticket means i only really go once or twice a year.

I support City, but I keep an eye on the local team and want them to do well. In my case, thats Hull City. But even then it only amounts to occasionally looking at a Hull related article.

I used to pop over to watch Alty occasionally when I lived in Wythenshawe. Been to watch Livingston a few times when I've been up visiting mates up there and I always look out for their results.
Now I live in Sheffield I have watched the Blades a few times as I live just around the corner from Bramall Lane. I have a mate here who is an Ipswich Town supporter so I join him to watch them when they are in the Yorkshire area.

my dad used to take me to Gigg lane to watch Bury in the mid 70's as a 6 or 7 year old,we would go to the odd away game, went to Anfield with Bury when they held them nil nil up until supersub David Fairclough came on and scored twice for the mickeys and Bury lost 2 nil, still get to Gigg lane once a season or so,fantastic club who's score i always look for after ours!

Watched bath city and team bath when I was at uni. Watched them win a playoff final too as it was at their home ground. More of something to do when city were playing on Sunday etc.

Always followed Southampton , my mum is from down there and her cousins son played for them during the keegan .Moran time , oh and Bobby Stokes was a hero to a 8 year old City fan
