Just been chatting with a none team supporting football fan who watches and enjoys football matches at any level, now his knowledge of the most obscure teams is fascinating and puts me to shame.

There is nothing I like more than watching a City game but how many people would be watching say a conference game with interest or viewing a Spanish game between two lower level La Liga sides.

Some people focus purely on the team they support and have a glance at another big game but have we got any hardcore fans who live and breathe football in general and are mesmerised by just watching any team play?

I'm much more of a City fan than a football fan.

I like to watch England and the occasional big game, but if its Blackburn v West Brom on a Monday and the Mrs is away I'd rather watch a documentary.

I go up to Scotland every year to visit family and always try and get a Highland League game in (usually the mighty Deveronvale).

Last year went to Inverurie Loco Works v Huntly.

Always have to pick a team though. Can't really enjoy it as a neutral.

i have no interest in watching any other team at all, in fact call me bitter but i even want all the english teams to get knocked out of the champs league simply because we're not in it!
sad, maybe but i dont care, fuck em all!

im the same, i want all english teams to get knocked out apart from us, but not because we're not there but i would rather not listen to their fans gloating about it!

I used to watch any old shite that was on but these days I probably watch less games other than City.

Still follow all the results and tables etc.

when we don't play on Saturdays or not at all. I go to watch non league, lower league football.
Saturday has always been football day, nothing else to do.

Watching the Euro championships without England in it was an absolute pleasure.

Watching lower league stuff on the telly is shite, but standing next to the pitch watching is totally different.

If im in 'the mood', i'll watch almost any EPL game.

As well as City though, i'll happily watch most Spanish league game - much more skill involved IMO.
