Watford (A) Post-Match Thread

David Silva has always slowed us down, it's just the player he is, he makes up for that in so many ways though

He did make up for it, not anymore though. Silva was genuinely great up to November 2018, nearly 20 months ago. Since then he has had moments here and there, mostly against rubbish teams. Foden should have played more this season. And Bernardo too.

Clear signs? Man of the match in the biggest game of the season so far, Madrid away. Second only to Kun in the whole league in terms of goals/assists per minutes. How many forwards in England are on 20+ goals and 10+ assists this season? 2-3? And all of them have played much more than Jesus.

.......and still misses 3 scorable chances for each one he takes.

Not yet at the Elite level but I hope he gets there with us.

What a load of rubbish, Lost to Norwich beat LiVarpool, we were just bad at times not necessarily against the top or bottom.
Absolutely correct, we have been enigmatic and put in some baffling performances. Also the refereeing and VAR decisions in our matches have left a lot to be desired.
  • VAR - Spurs (H), Scousers (A)
  • Shot ourselves in the foot - Norwich (A), Wolves (A), Chelsea (A), Southampton (A)
  • Below par - Wolves (H), Scum (H/A)

Boys will be fired up next year. Hard to know if the ‘ban’ and constant media shit about it affected the players?
