As much as he is a plum I can’t help but feel a bit uneasy by this. It’s not on and as someone has alluded to if it was the other way round people would lose their minds over it.

As many have said, not much sympathy for Rooney due to his history of playing away. As is common with many, the money that comes with the job/celebrity makes them think they can do and get away (usually) with anything.
However, as has been pointed out in the "Clapham Junction Asda brawl" thread, its all about get rich quick, insta, snap, celebrity, likes and hits (I'm not crossing into the Giggs thread there).
A sad refelction on the youth and "culture" of today.
