Just got my tickets for West Brom, just wondering where is best to get the train too?? Ive drove every other times but being the day after we return from Poznan gonna fancy another drink!

the best way to get westbrom on the train;or should i say the cheapest;is to get the train to stafford;for about 8pounds return;-then you get the hawthorn express for 4pounds return.the coach picks you up from outside stafford station;then drops you off outside the ground;then after the match;drops you off at stafford station;for your return to manchester stations. if enough interested;i will put the number up;for the hawthorn express.

does not matter;as long as you behave;and seats are available;its only like meggabus.-maybe they should drop the price;of 40pounds for match ticket.

Get a Tram to The Hawthorns from Snow Hill. It's a short walk from New Street. You should be able to buy a train ticket from Manchester Piccadilly to The Hawthorns directly.

Pub - The Vine is a stroll from the Ground and was always away fan friendly.

It's about time we won there.

I've usually got the train to Wolverhampton- pint there and then tram to The Hawthorns. You can go to New Street and walk to Snow Hill for the tram from there. More choice in Birmingham if you fancy a drink.

Train to Birmingham New Street then 74 Bus from Bull Street Stops BA-BF every 15 mins. Journey takes 22 mins. Returns from The Hawthorns @16:54 17:11 17:31 17:51

I've just bought train tickets from Piccadilly all the way to the Hawthorns for £18.90 return with a railcard. Offpeak tickets meaning I can get any train, so will be cheaper if you go advance. As for changes I'll be going into Birmingham New Street, walking to Moor Street and getting the train from there to The Hawthorns. According to a baggie mate it's only a 10 minute walk to Moor Street from New Street and trains from there are quite regular on a matchday.
