I didn't see the last game against Burnley because I was on holiday so I can't judge the performance (we won 6-1 do i'm guessing its not difficult to figure out!) but going off todays game we have finally clicked properly! The big changes I have noticed are....

...nowhere near as many passbacks! I actually saw Toure try and pass it elsewhere rather than to Given.

...generally a higher tempo and quicker passing, at times this season its been painfully slow and easy for teams to get organised.

...switching the ball from side to side all the time.

...STARTING the game on the front foot rather than starting the 2nd half on the front foot.

...players in general enjoying themselves, great to see all the smiles on their faces when they are playing and WANTING the ball not just standing still!

Awesome game....BRING ON THE SCUM, im prepared for the rat infestation next week i'll bring some traps a.k.a pennys with a big stick resting on it holding up a cage! Then maybe they'll be able to afford some fuckin scarves that are the same colour as their kit!

Rubbish. The guy has been in charge for less than four months - there is nothing 'late' about anything that is happening now.

We have a proper manager in charge now for the first time in many a long year, and we are reaping the benefits in an incredibly short space of time - fantastic appointment by Khaldoon, Cook, Sheikh Mansour, whoever was behind it.

Came slightly too late for us to challenge for the title and that is the only regret, but I have no doubt that if Mancini had come in late November instead of late December and we had turned some of those draws into wins we would be talking about being in the race for winning the whole thing, not just finishing 4th.

Taken time? He's more or less had an instant impact

The problem now is that a couple of big wins and some fans think that we've turned a corner and this is how it's going to be

Tough games coming up: Utd, Arsenal, Spurs, Villa, West Ham.

You might not have liked Hughes getting the boot, but you can't blame Mancini for that decision, and you've been very grudging in your praise for mancini

He's done very well to play Tevez in behind Adebayor. This has been a big part of our last two performances. Many managers would have left Tevez up top given the goals he was scoring. Now we have Adebayor on a run of goals

Agree SalfordCityBlue less than 4 months to turn us into solid top 4 material is a fantastic achievement for Mancio, he started at the back, then sorted out the midfield, it was all so systematic and clever, we have a FOOTBALL GENIUS in charge now, not A. Ball, the real deal !!

Mind has been made up for a long time. Change should have been made sooner, but there was nothing Mancini could do about that, and for probably the right reasons the owners were trying to demonstrate loyalty and patience - we have paid the price for that, but it's still a great ride.

There is nothing 'late' happening under the current manager, in fact he has made quite astonishing progress in such a short space of time, and to have clicked so soon is fucking fantastic work.

hughes's sacking had nothing to do with mancini, i have never said or implied it was. as for praising mancini well i am just honest, a team of baboons could get 4th with our squad as long as they are played with the right formation, bob did'nt do that for a number of games, now you can all say what you like but that is what happend. now he has seen the error of his ways he will do just fine.
i dont know if anyone caught the 1152 phone in but i was on tonight saying that although jose is very differcult to turn down there is no reason whatsoever to replace mancini if he A,gets his own players in, B, use his italian tactical nous and talent in an english way.

not praise, not slagging, not even wanting hughes back just an honest opinion of a long suffering blue, minus blue goggles.

Smashing performance last 2 games, but we need to do that against bigger clubs, before we can start saying we have clicked.

Hope your correct though ;)

I have rated Mancini since the first few games. I think we have a winner on our hands here boys and girls. If we can do to the Rags what we did to the last two teams, then he is cemented in - IMO. Forza Mancini, or whatever it is they say.

The way in which we have played in the last two games has been fantastic. Mancini seems to have instilled some much needed team spirit (wouldn't surprise me if his clash with gollum was the catalyst for that!) and we're beginning to look the part. We are far more professional and in the last two games we have shown the cutting edge that was lacking earlier in the season. People can say what they want about those games only being played against Burnley and Birmingham, but lets not forget a 4-2 win at Chelsea and a 2-1 win at fulham (who are semi finalists in the europa league). We weren't good enough against everton but you can't be brilliant every game and we're still learning.

Never felt more like singing the blues!
