come on city sort it out de jong is a winner and a leader get him signed long term.

Need to sort out Aguero, Nasri and third player, sell Tevez, Ade, Bridge, Bellars, RSC all beofre 1/9/11 if I were city I might just tell him he isn't forgotten but we are a little busy right now.

He signed a four and a half year deal with us when he signed in jan 09. So that leaves two yeas on his current deal. I reckon things are going a bit slow as city are trying to deal with all the incomings and outgoings in the transfer window. I think nigel understands this as he says he hopes things will start moving once the season starts again. There's no way Mancini/marwood/cook will let a player of nigels standard to go into the final year of his contract.

i just hope mancini rates him as highly as the fans do.

Sure he does, he starts Nigel every game possible and saw what happened when we took Nige and Silva out against the Dippers (lest we forget).

He should get a new contract that guarantees him a first team spot as long as the club is in existence..seeing as he'll live forever and all.

relax not a problem, our dip in form in january was whilst de jong was injured mancini knows he is a big player a contract will be sorted soon just like zab man and he will be soon made vice captain

but i am pissed as i type this

The Fail is like negative nectar for some on here.

I am not in the least bit concerned about De Jong, his contract or how much the club values him.
