I know it has been mentioned in another thread , but have just been chatting to James from Wealdstone re car parking on Sunday and he has asked me just to mention again that they are absolutely rammed to capacity on this day , so if you have not already booked your space please do not turn up as they will not be able to accommodate you .

They are expecting around 750-800 people and as I am sure you can appreciate this takes some managing particularly if the weather turns and everyone has to cram inside . They want to ensure that they continue to offer a good level of service and also ensure that their staff are able to cope with the expected numbers .

For those that have been here before you will know just how much effort goes into organising our visits . They have some exciting plans for the club going forward but they promise to keep to their original values of being a welcoming club offering decent price beer and food

Cheers

Ok the car park is full, fair enough

But what if you turn up off the tube, will you get in?

Quick update for everyone re the questions about just turning up by tube or parking outside . Had a conversation with James again this morning and he has asked me to advise everyone that if you have not booked already , then unfortunately you will not be able to gain admittance to the Club . He is very apologetic about having to say this but he is simply trying to avoid people making the journey only to then be turned away .

The simple reason for this is the numbers that are already expected . The Clubhouse can only hold a certain amount of people , the staff want to give a decent level of service and not have people 10 deep at the bar etc . I suppose Wealdstone are to some extent a victim of their own success as far as welcoming travelling Blues goes . They would of course love to have more people as it is days like this when they can make some decent money to help the Club , but unfortunately they simply cannot do it at this present time . As I mentioned earlier they are looking to improve and increase the size of the facilities that they have which will in turn lead to being able to have more visiting fans from other clubs on site , but this is still sometime away

Hope that clears things up , Cheers

Very disappointing as we always 'just walk up' not sure why they have decided to post the full sign's, thought last time we were there it was nowhere near as full as it was the first few visits, hope they've called it right and not banking on everyone on coaches staying.
Never been to Wembley and not gone into WFC, Oh well change is as good as a rest I suppose

Anyone know a similar venue in that area/Uxbridge as we are staying around there and Ive got my boy with me and dont fancy walking into a pub full of dippers
