Wealdstone FC message to City Fans

For those City supporters who use Wealdstone FC as their favourite stop on their way to Wembley I have just received a call from Jamie who normally arranges the coach parking for use at their club house, first of all he was wishing us luck again this season but also informing me that Football Focus will be filmed at their club house a week on Sat and their game v Colchester Utd in the 1st rd of the FA Cup will be the feature game on match of the day that night. I keep in touch with Jamie and as he always reminds me the club kind of adopted us as their 2nd team. I know they have been brilliant hosts for us over the last few seasons and hopefully it won't be to long before we go and meet the Wealdstone Raider again.

Jamie was saying the Raider is a bit of a star these days. I think they are hoping for a 3rd clash against City, would be a great money spinner for them. As those of you who have been there they have a great set up and the ground now holds 3500+

Gordon Hill aka The Wealdstone Raider is indeed quite the celebrity these days and commands a decent appearance fee and comes with a manager and driver. He has raised over £60,000 alone for Great Ormond street hospital last year and his demand is showing no signs of slowing down.

He does 2-3 Charity event appearances a week and really helps out these events by appearing .

I have booked him for a Charity Football night I'm holding this November and I cant speak highly enough of Gordon and his manager for the deal they gave me to attend and help me raise as much as possible for The Meningitis Now Charity, A Charity very close to my heart.

I'm currently almost 10 months into a complete alcohol free 2015 in aid of the Charity and have so far raised over £8,700 and hoping my event with help hit £10,000.
