What on earth was going on yesterday....

Was over in Manchester for work, and it was 33.5C, muggy, hot, sweaty.... got home to Northumberland yesterday evening, it was 15.5C.... and then at 1am there was huge thunder storm, and we got battered by massive hailstones!

You've got that out of the freezer.

Appreciated the thunderstorm/downpour.

I sometimes catch myself saying things my Dad says like "Pfft we need a right good storm to sort this weather out" before remembering that I didn't even know what it meant when he used to say it, let alone what it means when I'm saying it in my increasingly Lancastrian vocabulary.

We are having weather again? I love a bit of weather me, be it rain, snow, ice falling from the sky or heat. Weather's great. Can anyone remember the last time we had weather?

Fucking sat in a tepid bath to cool of the other day didn't i. Gave myself the chills, feel like i have been kicked by every runner in the grand national.

It was like taking a hearty glug of sea water after being adrift in the sun for a week. I knew it was a bad idea but my mentality was "fuck it" i needed to cool down xD
