I know this might likely point something out to some people that they'd never noticed and it might spoil the highlight videos, so firstly I'm sorry - if you're the sort of person where little things really get your goat stop reading.
I know this isn't something that everyone will have a gripe with, but does the guy who commentates on the extended highlight videos (on the club's website) wind anyone else up?
I find it hard to concentrate on the football that's being shown whilst listening out for his lisp. It's not even a lisp in the normal sense of the word, in fact I'm not even sure it's a real problem.
The guy pronounces almost every "the" "them" "there" as "vuh" "vem" "vere".
I could accept it if it was every time, and simply think it's not his fault he's been given the job, but sometimes he pronounces it correctly.
I hate watching football without sound. Wish the BBC would show MOTD on IPlayer.
